Courtney has done wonders with our Goldendoodle puppy. Her potty training is completely reliable now, as well as some really great commands that we can use for various situations and daily living. She was able to train her to walk so nicely on leash, and she’s now doing e-collar training and more advanced commands so that she can be off-leash reliably. Courtney is a pleasure to work with, she gives us regular updates and videos, and when she comes home, extensive human training so that we can utilize the commands. Excellent and highly, highly recommend!!

I sent my 1-year-old lab mix rescue, Angus, to do a three week board and train with Courtney and he’s come back a completely different boy! Beforehand, he was an extremely high-energy, anxious and reactive dog, but now he’s neutral around my family dog, friends/family, and his overall temperament has changed entirely. He’s extremely obedient and easily corrected. Courtney was very well at communicating the entire time, sending pics & videos as well as updates on his progress. This is by far one of the best investments I’ve made for both Angus’ wellbeing and future, as well as my own. I am very pleased with the results. Thank you, Courtney!

I cannot thank Courtney enough for training our Boykin Spaniel. We sent Remi to her for 3 weeks. Our biggest concern was her recall. She would escape through the front door and not come back when called. Remi is now able to follow commands consistently. Once Remi came home, Courtney came over and gave thorough instructions on how to continue working with her and the proper way to use the e-collar. She will be my go to for boarding and dog training needs. Our girl absolutely loves Courtney!

“My husband and I have almost always had at least one dog in our home over the last seventeen years and we always thought we were able to passably train them. I brought home a lab puppy (Moose) last year, and we began to work on training with him but we came up against a brick wall. He was over the 50-pound mark for weight, and his jumping on people or running off to chase deer were becoming a problem. Going for a walk with Moose was an absolute nightmare, and I couldn’t let my kids walk him. He was so sweet and we loved him dearly, but we just couldn’t figure out how to make the training we were trying to do with him stick.

Enter K9aholics. My husband specifically went to one of her marketing events at a local brewery and was thoroughly impressed with her work and her passion for it. We talked it over and immediately reached out to sign our 11-month old lab with her. We had never had this type of training done with a dog before, and I’ll admit that I was somewhat skeptical of what we would see at the end of the process.

Courtney kept us informed of Moose’s progress every step of the way, and went out of her way to work with our crazy schedules. We could not believe the change we saw in our pup! He not only listened to a command but was eager and happy to execute the command. His personality was already great before the training and now his behavior matches it!

My husband and I were very nervous about being able to maintain his training when he came back home, and I was so worried that I was going to undo all the progress Courtney had made with Moose. But, Courtney has walked us through the process and has been very thorough in teaching us how to maintain the training. She truly loves what she does and she is wonderful to work with.

Life with our lab is so much more peaceful and calm with a well-behaved large dog! Taking Moose on walks is now thoroughly enjoyable, and I am not concerned about him jumping on someone and hurting them in his excitement. K9aholics is a true professional and I would absolutely recommend!”

“I have a very difficult giant schnauzer. It’s been such a journey with training. I left him with Courtney and paid for a touch up training so he wouldn’t regress on his obedience and overall behavior while I was traveling out of state for 10 days. Additionally I also asked for muzzle conditioning! He came back even better and stronger with his obedience! He has a positive association to the muzzle as well. Courtney goes above and beyond to make sure you are successful with your dog! Her support and results are amazing. I would recommend her over and over again!”

Courtney is amazing! She took the time to talk to us and made sure she answered all of our questions. She addressed our concerns about using different tools to help with our Standard Poodles training. She did such a great job with our fur baby we are going to also use her services to train our Cane Corso pup.
